Abacoa Greenways
Throughout Abacoa are winding Greenways, perfect for a relaxing walk or for observing the beauty of nature right near your own home.  These preserved areas are home to the wildlife of Florida's natural ecosystem, particularly the endagered Florida Gopher Tortoise.  Though the Greenways' serve important functions, such as containing storm water, one can't deny the luxury of having the natural beauty and peacefulness of nature in your own back yard.

Abacoa Retail, Commercial, Services
Abacoa's Town Center is the heart of Abacoa, offering a perfect balance of retail, dining, offices and nieghborhood to reflect the way people live their lives today.  On Main Street, you'll find get that classic small town feel with shops of all varieties lining the street.  Easily reachable from any neighborhood in Abacoa, the area serves as the the community "hub".  Frequent fairs, festivals, concerts and other events are held at the end of main street at the outside ampitheater.

The baseball stadium, Roger Dean Stadium, bringing baseball to downtown Abacoa.  The Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals hold spring training at the stadium, and Palm Beach Cardinals and Jupiter Hammerheads minor league teams also play games here.  Set a block from Main Street, the stadium adds to the energy of the community.

Commerical plazas with larger stores are located conveniently close to the communities main entrances, allowing shoppers more options. 

Abacoa Golf Club
The beautiful Abacoa Golf Course is a public course, allowing for the splendors of the Abacoa lifestyle to be shard by all members of the Jupiter area.  More than a mere amenity, the course blends seamlessly with the landscape, making it an integral part of life in Abacoa. Though fully accessible to anyone wishing to play, the course is also considered to be of championship level, allowing for a challenging and rewarding game.  The Club also offers its beautiful clubhouse to rent for private parties, such as weddings.

Abacoa Education
Two contiguous college campuses are across the street from the stadium and Town Center, placing the benefits of a college-town environment practically at the doorsteps of Abacoa residents. The campuses are home to the Northern Palm Beach branch campus of Florida Atlantic University and the Honors College. The two provide a unique mix - the considerable programmatic and research opportunities of a state university system at the branch campus, coupled with the intimate and in-depth learning environment of the Honors College. The Honors College is built around the traditions of the classic American liberal arts education. Enrollment will be limited to approximately 500 top scholars, while creative learning opportunities will know virtually no limits. Cross-disciplinary and customized courses of study, plus one-on-one student- faculty interaction, will be key elements of the Honors College experience.

Northern Palm Beach Campus offers continuing education classes in career skills and personal enrichment, as well as bachelor's degrees for those completing the last two years of their baccalaureate program, master’s and certain doctoral degrees.

Beacon Cove Intermediate School-Bessie Dubois Campus and Independence Middle School are both newly constructed schools located in Abacoa, with bicycle and pedestrian paths connecting them to all Abacoa neighborhoods.

Two existing schools are located adjacent to the Abacoa property, Lighthouse Elementary and Jupiter Middle schools. The W.T. Dwyer High School and Jupiter High School are situated nearby on Military Trail. All schools are part of the Palm Beach County School District.
